SANTA PAWS donation bins show up in mid-November in all the local pet stores, veterinarian offices and Frisco's Welcome Center to collect toys or treats for the less fortunate pets in Summit County. If you would like to donate an item, please visit one of those locations, or if you or someone you know, is having a tough time with their Christmas gift for their pets, then please make a copy of our Santa Paws Donation form, fill it out and mail it to L.A.P.S. by Dec. 17th. We will distribute the gifts before Christmas to the pets on the donation forms, limited to a first come, first serve basis. Help L.A.P.S. put one of those delightful smiles on the faces of someone's deserving pet this Holiday season! Click here for Santa Paws donation form.

WELCOME to our meetings!
LAPS meets at 5:30 pm on the third Thursday of each month at Abbey's Coffee in Frisco on Main Street next to BackCountry Brewery.
Join us as a board member of L.A.P.S. or just come to the meeting to get aquainted. Please email LAPS@colorado.net before attending a meeting to confirm it has not been re-scheduled. LAPS events you can volunteer for and bring your dog in Summit County include: Mardi Gras 4Paws, Canine 4K run/walk and Marina Mutt. Let's Go Boating at Dillon Marina benefits LAPS, but dogs can't sail with you. HOWLaween Ball at the Silverthorne Pavilion is only for adults...no pets or kids. Please join us for some furry family fun, great socializing dog-friendly events and our fundraisers that support less fortunate local pets. Energetic, involved people are always needed to serve as board members and help with special events around Summit County.

LAPS is spearheading effort to secure permanent Dog Parks throughout Summit County. We need citizens to join committees and attend local government meetings to actively lobby for dog parks in our towns. Please email LAPS@colorado.net should you wish to help. Left click here to view our Dog Park page.

Please join our free NEWSLETTER list by emailing LAPS@colorado.net. We no longer print and mail a membership newsletter, but we can include you on our email list to stay current on LAPS events.
