RACE RULES

Competitors may be accompanied by a maximum of 2 leashed dogs.

* Dogs must be on a leash no longer than six feet and under control at all times, please.* Clean up after your pets!!! Poop bags & trash cans will be provided.
* All dogs entered must have proof of current rabies vaccinations. If you are pre-registering, please mail a copy of the rabies certificate or just bring a copy on event day. Have your dog wear current I.D. and rabies tags.
* DO NOT bring your dog if she is in heat. Veterinarians recommend that dogs less than six months old not participate.
* Use good judgment. Bring a dog who enjoys being around other dogs and people. Do not bring your dog if its behavior is dangerous to others. We reserve the right to refuse entry to aggressive animals.

* This race is an uphill obstacle course with natural & man-made obstacles. If you feel that you or your dog are not able to complete all the obstacles without possible injury, your timed run will be increased a set amount for each incomplete obstacle. Please do not over extend yourself or your best friend!
* This event is on the second day of Dog Daze at Copper Mt. which includes an agilitiy course, seminars, music etc. The first day benefits Canine Partners of the Rockies (service dogs) and the K9 Extreme will benefit L.A.P.S. Enjoy 2 days of doggie madness for 2 great causes!

Race begins at 10:30AM
Location & Course

The race will start & finish at the base of Copper Mountain Resort between the Eagle Lift and the Flyer lift. Take I-70 West to Copper Mt. exit. Parking options are available close-in pay or outer lots with the bus system.
Race Fees: fees are PER DOG
and one time only.
Pre-registrations will not be accepted before Sat. Aug 6 or after Aug 22. Do not confuse this event with the K94K event!!

LAPS members: $10.00
Nonmembers: $13.00
Registration after Aug 22:
LAPS members: $13.00
Nonmembers: $16.00

Race Registration
Advance registration (received by August 22) may be done at the Summit County Animal Shelter or by mail to L.A.P.S., P.O. Box 2512, Frisco, CO 80443. Registration may be done on race day, beginning at 9:15AM at the race site. Race day registration closes at 10:15AM.
Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in male/female/age categories. One prize per entrant only. All entrants receive a goodie bag. Water provided for humans & dogs.
